Newspapers have called Rutland and the country either side of it the Cotswolds without the price tag for about two years. Nobody had put a number on it.
The gap is 25%
We ran the same measurement over both regions on the same day. Across 26,612 homes in the Notswolds and 29,805 in the Cotswolds, the Notswolds average sits 25% lower.
We publish the ratio and not the two price levels. Our market estimate runs high across the whole country, so the gap between two regions is the sound number and an absolute is not.
